Approximately twenty-five thousand homes in Queensland's southeast were left without power on Monday morning after severe thunderstorms passed over the region, producing powerful gusts hitting 109km/h.
Massive Frozen Precipitation and Broad Destruction

Moist weather were forecast to persist along large portions of Queensland's east this week as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tuesday was expected to become the wettest day, with continued severe weather risk anticipated across different parts of both areas.
Health Warning
Health officials cautioned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the ongoing climate situation.
This warning comes after historical occurrences where similar conditions led to major medical consequences in the region.
