In the course of a engagement to a cathedral in Staffordshire on the start of the week, the King was confronted by a individual who asked him about Prince Andrew's connections with convicted sex offender Epstein.

The protester asked how long the King had been aware about his brother's association with Jeffrey Epstein, and also raised doubts about whether he had asked the police to "conceal" for Andrew.

The controversy over Prince Andrew's connections to Jeffrey Epstein has been revived by sexual abuse allegations detailed in Ms. Giuffre's posthumously-published memoir.

In the memoir, Ms Giuffre claims she had sexual encounters with the prince on three separate occasions, including once with Jeffrey Epstein and "several other minors"

Prince Andrew, who reached a out-of-court agreement with the plaintiff in recent years, has repeatedly denied any misconduct. In 2019, he told BBC Newsnight he did not remember meeting her "at all", and that they "did not have any sort of intimate relations."

New Inquiries About Finances and Living Arrangements

But in recent times, new inquiries have been asked about how he is able to finance his way of life despite not being a working royal.

The disclosure that he has only ever paid a token annual rent on his Royal Lodge has intensified the scrutiny over his living arrangements - even though he made significant contributions up front, including for renovations.

The political party said he should be called in before members of parliament to give evidence about his lease of his residence.

But last Thursday, the authorities declined to give parliamentarians time to discuss the prince's status or his residence, despite increasing calls for investigation.

Buckingham Palace has not commented on whether Prince Andrew might move out of his current residence - or where he might reside.
