The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The mission centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Content
Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana together with multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
